Fantastic post. This puts it all together. I feel like we've been playing whack-a-mole for the last 40+ years.I am crossing my fingers that the level of corruption has gotten to the point of waking people up. Maybe thump was the shot in the arm that we needed? I used to be one of those uninformed voters (& hate to admit it, but voted for Reagan.) We had faith that the party would provide us with leaders. Now too often we seem to vote for the "lesser of 2 evils" and stay in our bubbles. Thump has been so horrible that we're getting a peak behind the curtain of who's really running the show.
Thank you! I found that I wanted to put something comprehensive together, especially before November 5th. Trump and Vance's disgusting and intentional misdirection as to "the enemy within" provoked this article, along with the continuing inspiration of Heather's LFAA's and those who encourage me, as you have.
8 days away from the most important election since 1860. Harris has done everything possible to wake us up. If she loses, the country won’t recover in my lifetime. It is sad, disheartening and frightening. Nevertheless , I am optimistic. I feel about the race like I felt before every big trial: I was prepared, did everything I could to anticipate problems, was in command of the facts and evidence. Still the one factor I could not control was the jury. She too has done everything. Will the jury follow that bund rally into the abyss?
Excellent. If you want to fix something, the first thing is to clearly see what is wrong. Of course, the writing has been on the wall for a long time -- I moved to the U.S. in 1977 (to San Francisco) and was simply stunned when Reagan, a second-rate movie star, became president. Maybe we have reached a tipping-point where enough people realize what's at stake, and when Kamala becomes president, she and Tim will start chipping away at this cancer within. Thank you for putting this together so clearly.
Thanks Elizabeth. You don't think we are at an inflection point where a handful of people could simply dispose of the guardrails of our system? For example, the Supreme Court and Judicial Branch? The House of Representatives currently guided by an incompetent, hypocritical religious fanatic? The system is worth saving, however don't we first have to honestly declare, "Houston, we have a problem" -and identify what has failed or is failing? You don't think our adversaries see this? If they didn't -why would they spend so much time and effort driving the division?

I am forwarding your post to all my friends

Everything you wrote is 100 percent correct . I am terrified.
Thank you Laura. I strive for accuracy, even when infringing upon Stephen King horror genre territory.

Thanks Allan. If the Harris/Walz administration has a Congress they can work with, perhaps the guardrails can be strengthened.
This is so good! Keep posting it!
Thank you Michelle!
Thanks George, another great article.
With project 2025 being the new template for our government I'm going to reread some chapters to give people a better idea of the details of the plan.
Thank you Bob!
Excellent post George you scored on all points
Thank you so much Fay -more importantly, I hope the points translate into votes for democracy, justice, equality, and good governance.
Me too, George, me too.

Thank you Jessica. Reagan set much of this in motion.
